Why Are You so Different?

Yes, I isolate myself, not because I don’t love people, but because I exhaust myself from the world: the noise, the crowds, and too long conversations. I also isolate myself because I prefer to be alone than surrounded by people who don’t vibrate on the same frequencies as me. I’m not saying they’re less interesting, I’m not assuming.

Just saying we are different. I also say that the older I get, the more I know who I am, where I’m going and what I want, and especially what is no longer in line with me. I feel wonderfully good in silence. And if I receive someone, it’s because I want it, because I enjoy it! I’m not anti-social, I’m, as Jung said, “a selective empath.” An empath who respects his perceptions and listens to his body, his mind, his soul.

I deeply love people, listen, advise and help them… But after all this, my “self” demands a break. So, if anyone recognizes themselves in these words, know that when we spend time with someone, it’s not to fill a void, but because we really want it.
