Neo, or “The One,” is not just an individual entity confined to a physical body. Neo represents the entire Matrix becoming self-aware, rewriting and transforming itself.

In the world of “The Matrix,” everything that appears is shaped through Matrix code. Neo, who can see this code, understands that he is interconnected with all characters and places.

He is not merely the physical form we see as Neo but an embodiment of the entire Matrix. This is why, in the final confrontation, Agent Smith tells Neo it is impossible to win, suggesting a battle between separate entities. Neo’s ultimate realization is that there is no separation; he is the Matrix itself.

…The Earth and body are one. We are not isolated individuals but the entire universe experiencing itself through various forms.
