One day he told me that when he was first in the hospital, at night he often left his body. I can’t remember the details of where he went, only that he felt no pain and the account of his returning to his body.
He said he swooped down and could see the hospital and then he dove into his body and was back. The Bart train went by the hospital on an elevated track and one night he missed and came up in the body of a passed out drunk on the train…

There was a famous scientist from Lawrence Labs in Berkeley whose room was right across from the nurse’s station. All day in a booming voice he would demand GET ME UP…..GET ME UP. He was stuck in one those large chairs with a tray that snapped on in front. GET. ME. UP. GET. ME. UP! I don’t know how the nurses stood it.
