People end up looking to other cultures for the sacredness they lost in theirs…
Completely forgotten is the fact that our minds are not for ourselves. Our spirituality, our brilliant moment of inspiration, of alertness or intensity, is not for us. Neither are our lives, because we are here to serve the cosmos, not ourselves.
The truth is that our entire existence and everything in it, including logic, comes from the sacred….
But for anything to come from there to here, the path has to be kept clear, quite open… It’s simply a matter of going to meet death before death comes looking for you…As long as there are those empty enough to do this, the sun is able to shine…They are the ones carrying the nourishment for every culture…
And nothing could be more fated than a culture that throws those gifts away.
