There Are Many Kinds of Beauty

This is one.

And this is one too.

The imagination of artists is amazing.

We are creators and we create astounding beauty.

Thank God!

How could we live without finding beauty in our soul and birthing it into the world?

The artist imagines a better world. A world where beauty takes precedence, where there is a deeper purpose to life, where what our lives are has a greater context. We need that greater context.

Context is everything.

We have control over context, by the way. You may not have thought of that, but it’s true. Your thoughts show the context you are casting over your life.

You want to create a creative, positive context if you can. Don’t tell yourself a sad story about your life. That’s dangerous, because thoughts have the power to manifest physical reality.

Be careful what story you’re telling yourself. Tell yourself a story that opens up your future, a story that gives you power.

We all tell ourselves stories all the time, without realizing that believing them has power. Tell yourself stories that give you power, not take away your power.

It’s just that simple. But you have to be aware of your thoughts — as thoughts.

That’s a discipline in itself. It’s an acquired skill, but anyone can do it. It’s not sophisticated.

Everyone thinks, but not many people know in the moment that they are just thinking, and that their thoughts are not necessarily more than mere personal thought-forms. None of us achieve the level of “truth dispensers” in our lifetimes. We may accumulate a lot of opinions, but wisdom is granted to the few — and even then, it’s partial.

No one has the whole truth, unfortunately, as much as we would wish it. We all have to continue our personal search for our own truth, and then live by it.

It’s not an easy task.

Questioning everything is probably better than having all the answers, though. People who have decided exactly what’s what in life have destroyed all the magic of it, in my opinion.

I think it’s important to stay fascinated, enchanted and wondrous at the miracle we live in.

That’s my plan, anyway.
