Fascism in Germany before WWII was financed by the banking industry, war mongers and chemical and manufacturing industries and not just in Germany. The fascists were given lots of money for uniforms, weapons and propaganda. Their brute tactics were allowed because they were beating up workers who dared to organize.
Here, too, Ford and the Morgan’s, among many other oligarchs, hired Pinkerton’s to beat up workers organizing unions. This class warfare is ongoing and unrelenting because our minds are colonized by those whose fortunes are at stake when blacks or workers or women threaten in any way their dominance.

Militias was code for racial fears. Slaves were going to outnumber whites. Those who had the immoral belief that owning humans was sanctified by gods of commerce wanted protection. The Founding Fathers, many, were slave owners. There is no way to wash away that stain, that sin.
This country has tried to justify its horrific history and to keep a constantly boiling pot of hate and fear from burning us all.
The price we pay for this refusal to tell the truth is dead children eviscerated by assault weapons.
