The reasons to write are many — to learn to write, to learn to see more deeply, to learn the principles of communication, and even to offer hope to strangers. If you tune into your core energies you may find what you can offer the world. You may become a deeper person.

I do think motivation is crucial. If you just want to make a buck but you don’t love writing, you probably won’t have the necessary dedication to invest in it. It’s not the easiest metier in the world. You have to marry it and stick with it through thick and thin.
