Yes, you can shave your head, wear nothing but orange robes, eat only avocado, burn incense until the neighbors call the fire brigade and indeed beat yourself and others over the head with the Bible or the Koran, unless you learn how to drop all the attachments and at least once in your life travel inward and deeper inward to the Ground of Being where its keeper the Goddess waits to initiate you into Her mystery of the Divine Unity of all life, all this prostrating before scripture, gurus or bestselling books was for nought.
