The Moral Universe
During his State of the Union address FDR admitted that the political rights granted by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights had proven inadequate. He recommended a “Second Bill of Rights” that would guarantee a right to work, a living wage, decent housing, adequate medical care and education for all. So long as these basic human rights are seen as idealism instead of justice most Americans will languish in the clawhold of economic serfdom.

Albert Einstein warned in 1949 that the time would come when the very rich so controlled the means of communication that it would be almost impossible for ordinary people to make informed decisions and so democracy would then be broken

Few years ago I realized the importance of my existence and its purpose. I learned to love myself and take good care of me. I learned to love myself more and that allowed me to love others. I finally understood that I was enough. I forgave everyone who hurt me because they too were going through their own set of traumas and healing process. I also forgave myself and it was as if I have been liberated and for the first time in my life I was free spiritually and emotionally like a butterfly. I never gave up and I kept trying my best to become a better, stronger and softer man.
