An image is a powerful thing. The non-Romantics among us may prefer numbers and abstractions, but those who live from the soul know the importance of images and know not to reduce them to ideas and interpretations. Being a romantic in the age of rationalism and technology requires that you be excentric, outside the circle, a holy fool. We romantics bask in images and fight off those who would squeeze all of life’s meaning into a few facts and rules.
