It’s very hard not to feel bad about ourselves when other people judge or dislike us. It is important to remember that, if our critics had mastered the art of loving, they would be able to see past the ugliness of our defenses and flaws and see the tangled flower somehow unable to straighten itself into the light. It is someone with a wounded heart who sees only our wounds. It is a fearful soul that lacks the courage to love us in spite of how we may appear on our worst moments…

If we are not loving, some obstacle hinders our blossoming. Judgment and criticism will not usually untangle us. It is best to remember our roots and to let go of whatever hinders our growth into
