Rolling in Ecstasy
A writer’s work is often cultivated over time, and for good reason. The point of writing is not to get somewhere faster, after all; in fact, it’s often to find out what we’ve been running away from all along.

The first time I heard the term love warrior I experienced a real awakening. The phrase resonated with me immediately. As I understand it, a love warrior is a person who is committed to love as a central value in life. Love is indeed a complicated concept on many levels, such as the love of life, of oneself, of each other, of the divine, and much more. To be a warrior is to use your power, to develop skills, focus, strength, purpose and the determination to serve a higher value. To become a love warrior, then, we must know who we are, be grounded in self-respect and respect for others, in self-acceptance and the acceptance of others.
…Becoming a love warrior challenges the very depth of who we are and who we want to be, so we can stand for our highest values against the destructive forces threatening life, without becoming such a destructive force ourselves.
