“A loveless world is a dead world, and always there comes an hour when one is weary of prisons, of one’s work, and of devotion to duty, and all one craves for is a loved face, the warmth and wonder of a loving heart.”

— Albert Camus — The Plague, 1941.

“Female spirit, the goddess in us, is not fragile or new; not an invention of privileged women or an escapist New Age elite. We are tough and ancient: tried by a million years of ice and fire. On enormous and minute wheels of pain and beauty we have turned…we return to tell and respell our story.”

— Barbara Mor

Don’t abandon yourself. Not when you’re sick. Not when you’re tired.
Not when you’ve lost the thread, the thought, or the thing you thought defined you.

You will die many times in one life and create yourself anew. This is natural. This is a gift.
I’ve died a few times now here in this world. The person I was: gone.

Throw that older skin into the water. Give it to the sky. Step into what wants to emerge now. Nothing can hold you back when you are willing to be Yourself..✨

~ Jeannette Encinias

“It is my conviction that there is no way to peace — peace is the way.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh — The Art of Power.

We’re persuaded that we can achieve our goals by effort, by a kind of warrior mentality, by overcoming opposition, when in reality the inner weather we cultivate always manifests in our outward life. We think we can arrive at peace through force. We forget that the means creates the end. If the means lack harmony and empathy, we may achieve suppression of certain effects but we will not have peace. Imitation of peace leads to war, both individually and collectively.

This is our world, the way we have built it. It’s an unsolvable puzzle that we keep trying to resolve, but without the key. Outside of that flawed paradigm is another vision, another consciousness, that has elements the patriarchy has forgotten, simple things like kindness, caring, empathy, connection and love. Forgetting those things has doomed the patriarchy to dysfunction, confusion, a sense…
