Peace in The Heart of The World
In other news today, a completely non-celebrity type of person did something that did not cause a rift, backlash, or any outrage.
In fact, Sarah S. of a midwestern town you’ve never driven through, quietly forgave her sister for something that happened years ago.
In another part of the country, Jimmy H. smiled at a cat that was walking across the top of a fence and wasn’t doing anything special that would make it a TikTok sensation. He was happy for at least two minutes after that. Jimmy, that is. We don’t know the emotional state of the cat.
And on the inland part of the west coast that has never been a movie location or the scene of any major scandal, a daughter of a woman named Kim P. gave her a hug and said, “I love you, mom.”
None of these people immediately responded to our requests for comment.

Today, I am reminded of my duty to create a better world for all children. I’ve got a daughter and a young grandson. It is important to understand that they cannot have a just and peaceful world unless every child on the planet has that. This is new. It used to be that all we had to worry about was our community, maybe our country. But we didn’t have to worry about the world.
