Our patriarchal culture values power mechanics over aesthetics and care for others. Feminine values struggle to survive or even be seen as normal in our world. AOC is a humane voice on this stage, mixing the politics of kindness where it is rarely seen. We need that healing mindset across the board in our unconsciously cruel society. The fact that she has appeared on the scene gives me hope.
