One Mind, One Body
If you are unhappy with anything…whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you’ll find that when you’re free, your true creativity, your true self, comes out.

Did you know that the unconscious mind does not know anyone else but you? (I’ll bet you didn’t.) It has no conception of consciousness other than your own. I explain to students that when we criticize others or find fault, our mind thinks we are speaking about ourselves. That’s why it’s so important to become aware of the power of our words, because often our words and feelings that are directed outwardly can rebound and cause havoc in our own lives.

Last night a student shared that as she is getting older, she has been thinking a lot about things she has done that have created negative karma, and asked how to undo that.
Eckhart said, “You recognize (the negative feelings) as having been caused by unconsciousness and the conditioning of your mind.”
“You become free of the burden by forgiving yourself. True forgiveness arises through the realization that truly and ultimately, there’s nothing to forgive. ‘You’ weren’t even there.”
