— Jessie Arms Botke — Egrets, 1944.

“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things.

I want to be light and frolicsome.

I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,

as though I had wings.”

— Mary Oliver — Owls and Other Fantasies

We can’t tear others away from their destiny, it’s useless.

You can’t snatch people to their destiny, just like medicine you can’t heal a sick person if nature wants to kill them.

Our sins, mistakes and faults are necessary, otherwise we would be deprived of the most precious incentives for development.

The ancient book of Chinese wisdom says:

«The Master spoke only once. He doesn’t run after people, it’s of no use. Those who need to understand — because this is their destiny — will understand, and others won’t.

— Jung

When love finds you, it doesn’t come with crashing waves or thunderbolts. It appears as a song on the radio or a particular blue in the sky. It dawns on you slowly, like a warm winter sunrise — where the promise of summer shines out from within.

— Lang Leav
