Love

What is it?

Do we know it when we see it? I am moved by this photo because stone is eternal but we earthlings all live in a temporal world. Some people imagine passing from lifetime to lifetime with the same soul mates. I would like to think that’s true because I want to keep the soul mate I have, but death is a mysterious cloud that no one has yet penetrated.

I don’t like to believe things just because they comfort me.

And while we’re on the subject of love, I’d like to talk about the variety we see everywhere, from romantic to parental, inter and intra species, from tribal to the universal. It’s infinite in its variety.
