After living in France for almost 40 years I think I can say without fear of contradiction that I loved living in France. I’m fluent in French and very adapted to the culture. If I thought I could move back and live on my social security of $1500 a month, I’d leave Mexico now. We’re looking at Portugal because we both love Western Europe but need to live cheaply. I’m eighty and my wife is seventy-five.
