I’ve been writing every day on Medium for three years. I’m 81. I think you write when you have something to say, but I must admit I never know what that is when I begin my daily piece. I discover it in the writing of it. I learn by writing, so that’s part of the motivation. The rest is simply being impelled by the desire to create something beautiful and meaningful.

For some people the reservoir my need more time to top up again, and your schedule may extend naturally to 48 hours.
