I’m in my mid 80’s, having spent most of my adult life outside the US. I’m fluent in French and functional in Italian and Spanish. When we had the crazy idea of returning to the States after selling our B&B in France, we just couldn’t take it. The kids are there so to make visiting easier we’re now in Mexico.
With MAGA Republicans going bezerk the kids are starting to talk about leaving now. Even living abroad Americans can still vote. We do, because we think that if everyone who wants a better country stops voting it’ll just get worse.
