I’m hearing (or reading) that Medium is having so many problems with Ai content that is cloned or fake that the real writers are being shortchanged or even mistakenly banned from the platform. My own pay level has been cut in half, evidently because fake accounts are earning so much. A lot of writers have already left for Substack.

I don’t really understand Substack, it’s different from what I’m used to here on Medium, but I’ve started posting my articles there. It’s a different group of people there, a lot of political content (left-leaning). I don’t see anyone writing the kind of stuff I do, but they may simply be hard to find. I see it as an alternative only if Medium disappears.
