I met and spoke with Krishnamurti several times. I attended many of his talks in Saanen, and I can say that he helped me. He had a kind of intense, galvanizing energy in person. But behind the image was a hypocrite about sex— he conducted a long affair with the wife of his editor—and he hid his private life, for good reason. He created a public image that was a lie, on purpose. For me, he’s an enigma.
