You don’t have to subscribe to Everett’s “Many Worlds Interpretation” of quantum mechanics to know that we live in more than one world, right here and right now. We live in the immediate world of breath and sound and light. In the intimate world of the body with its cells more numerous than stars. In the world of our direct relationships with animals, friends, strangers. In the world of each precious present moment which extends into eternity.

To put your head in the sand and give thanks for what you have and ignore the world at large while history, which does repeat itself over and over again, is presenting us with an unleashed, unchecked evil, is simply irresponsible and ignorant.
