Everyone learns languages differently, but the schools only teach one system — vocabulary and grammar. I’m one of those who learn by imitating sounds. I can do the conventional system easily but it offends me that so few can actually speak the language through that system. Speaking with natives and singing along with native singers can move the needle a million times faster for some of us than classroom study can hope to.
