Does God Laugh?
We would have to say that thinking is often seen as superior to feeling within the dominant culture . And feeling is often seen as emotion and affect. But for thinking types, differentiated feelings might be the leading edge.

He says that the first thing he noticed is that no one is laughing. He thinks you’ve got to keep laughing or you’ll lose any power you had.
