I notice the difference between people writing in the flow of consciousness or not. Flow of consciousness are more like what I call ‘musings’ and give an embodied way of making oneself deeply acquainted with a topic in a different, associative way.

Don’t know exactly how that relates to creativity. I do feel more attracted to the musing style than to more linear styles of writing.
